This article explains how to se your UI to appear in the HubSpot sidebar instead of the middle column. By changing the UI type, you can decide whether your interface displays as a Sidebar Card or a Middle Column Card.
Step 1: Go to the HubSpot sidebar, click on CRM, and select the object you’re interested in
Step 2: Once you’ve chosen the object (e.g. Contacts), click on the contact you're interested in
Step 3: You will be redirected to Palpaca’s homepage. Click the “Create your first UI” or “Add new UI” button, or select an existing UI you want to edit.
Step 5: You will be redirected to the UI Info page. Locate the UI Type option and click on it
Step 6: A dropdown menu will appear. Select “Sidebar Card” instead of “Middle Column Card”
Step 7: Continue through all the required steps until you reach the builder, click on "Create UI" and use the Drag-and-Drop builder to choose the components you want to use.
Note: Once you’re on the UI Builder page, the Sidebar preview will appear narrower than the middle column view.
