How to Integrate Data Sources

To build powerful, data-driven interfaces with Palpaca, you need to connect external data sources such as Google Sheets, CRMs, or financial tools. This article explains how to authenticate those sources by inserting access tokens into the builder. Once connected, you'll be able to use that data inside your UIs in real time.
Step 1: Go to the HubSpot sidebar, click on CRM, and select the object you’re interested in
Step 2: Once you’ve chosen the object (e.g. Contacts), click on the contact you're interested in
Step 3: You will be redirected to Palpaca’s homepage. Click the “Create your first UI” or “Add new UI” button, or select an existing UI you want to edit.
Step 4: Go to the Data Sources screen and click on the “Set-up now” button next to the resource you want to connect
Step 5: A sidebar will appear on the right. Insert the API Key into the field provided, click the “Get data” button to verify the connection, then click “Save” at the bottom left of the sidebar
Step 6: Once redirected to the Data Sources page, select the object you want through the dropdown button
Step 7: Select the data sources you want to use then click the “Continue” button to move on with the next steps of the UI.
Step 8: Your data source is now connected and ready to use inside your UI.
