Selecting Objects Based on your Data Source

When setting up a new UI in Palpaca, you need to define which objects (from your connected APIs) your interface should work with. This guide walks you through how to select specific objects for your project.

Step 1: Go to the HubSpot sidebar, click on CRM, and select the object you’re interested in.

Step 2: Once you’ve chosen the object (e.g. Contacts), click on the contact you're interested in.

Step 3: You will be redirected to Palpaca’s homepage. Click the “Create your first UI” or “Add new UI” button, or select an existing UI you want to edit.

Step 4: Go to the Data Sources screen and Choose the API object you’re interested in and on the right side of the table you will find the object you want to select through the dropdown menu. From the dropdown, select the object you want to use.

Note: You can only select 1 object per Data Source

Step 5: Click the “Continue” button to proceed.

Note: You can preview data from your data source object by clicking on “Data Preview”
