Understanding your Current Usage and Limits

This article explains how to check and understand your current usage limits in Palpaca. Knowing your limits helps you plan your work, avoid restrictions, and decide if you need to upgrade your plan.
UI Limit
Each subscription plan has a maximum number of UIs you can build.
Example: On the Starter plan, you can create up to 3 UIs. If you already have 3, you’ll need to delete one or upgrade to create another.
How to check: On your Billing & Plan page, you’ll see the count of the total UIs used.
Component Limit
Every UI has a maximum number of components depending on your plan.
Example: On the Free plan, a UI allows up to 7 components. Once you reach the limit, you can upgrade to a higher plan to include more in a single UI.
How to check: On the Drag-and-Drop area of the UI, you will find how many components you have used, as well as in the settings UI table.
Data Source Types and Limits
Your plan also defines both the number of data sources per UI and the types available.
Types
- Basic: HubSpot only
- Essential: Business suites (e.g. Google Workspace), CMSs, and cloud storage
- Analytics (Standard): Billing, project management tools, social media, other CRMs, analytics, e-commerce
- Advanced: ERPs, accounting, BI tools, database connections
Examples:
- On Starter, you can connect HubSpot + 1 external data source per UI, but only from the Essential category that you can find in the Data Source tab.
- On Business, you can connect HubSpot + 4 external data sources, including Advanced systems like ERPs (only 1 advanced source per UI is allowed).
How to check: On your Data Source area, you will find how many data sources you have still available.
Object Record Locations
Your plan also controls which CRM objects you can build UIs for.
Example:
- On Starter, you can build UIs for Tickets and Deals
- However, you cannot use other objects like Services or Appointments unless you upgrade
How to check: In the UI creation flow, unsupported objects will appear greyed out with an “Upgrade required” label
Next Steps
If you are close to reaching your limits, you can:
- Delete unused UIs, components, or data sources
- Upgrade to a higher plan to unlock more resources.
